Field research has shown that zinc deficiency is rampant in soil. Zinc is a vital element needed for healthy plants.Zinc when applied in its sulphate form to the soil to correct its zinc deficiency, reacts with calcium and or phosphorus present in the soil and therefore, does not serve the purpose unless it is applied in very large quantities.
On the other hand, the EDTA salt of Zinc prevents the sequesters metal from reacting to form insoluble complexes and hence permits zinc metal to be easily available for plant nutrition. Thus, EDTA–ZINC is a highly favored additive needed for overcoming zinc deficiency.
Agri Zinc is a foliar spray containing high purity zinc EDTA based product that has shown very good results in when applied the foliar form on plants. It is well accepted by the farmer’s community from the past many years.
